Missions
Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

India
Garry Jones is sponsored by the Clinton, TN Church of Christ and works in India. If you have kept up with Garry’s reports you know he is doing an excellent work getting the local Christians involved and doing the work. Of course, that should be the goal of any mission work. Garry is involved in setting up medical camps, feeding programs, etc., but as Garry said, he is primarily there to teach others about Christ and to strengthen and encourage new Christians.
Africa
Keith Gafner and his family work in Kenya. You probably remember hearing about those bloody tribal clashes in Kenya in the 90’s. Keith knew something had to be done about those clashes so he began working with the youth and taught them about agriculture. Some land was donated and they got busy planting vegetables. With their profits, the young people bought more land to produce even more crops. The local farmers even came to learn from Keith and the young people. Peace and reconciliation was the greatest result of this project. Keith introduced new crops such as peppers and bamboo. The bamboo is used for much needed fire wood and to build furniture which provided many needed jobs. The physical work expanded into producing bee hives and making ovens to bake bread. The spiritual work brought people together and helped them deal with their differences and they learned how to be at peace not just with each other but with God because of Jesus. Keith and his family have changed the world and made it a better place. For more information about the Gafners go to www.willischurchfamily.org.
